Trojan yang satu ini sangat aktif dalam menyebarkan diri melalui email sebagai attachment berjenis file zip. Jenis-jenis subjek pada email bervariasi, misalnya Notifikasi WhatsApp, FedEx hingga Free Pizza. Zortob.L akan mencuri file dokumen seprti .doc, xls, key.db dan signons.sqlite.
